Sonica & the Boys

We are a small family business set in beautiful Cornwall, UK with a passion for surfing, skating outdoors and everything that is Cornish.

​

Surfbox Cornwall was created by myself, Sonica, a Portuguese sardine, and my husband Guy a very proud Cornish man.

​

For Guy, moving back to motherland was always a set idea. Even more so when we start having bambinos. “You will see Son, there is no other place like Cornwall”. So, after many years of working for the NHS and an opportunity for Guy to become a Firefighter in his homeland we moved to Cornwall to stay closer to family and friends and be able to give some incredible experiences  to our 3 boys.

Surfbox Cornwall emerged from a bunch of ideas from our creative minds that have been dormant for way too long. Our aim is to provide good quality products and promote the best that Cornwall has to offer.

​

It’s a privilege to live and work here. Being able to be so close to the sea fills you with so much energy and motivation that makes the rainy days, there are a lot of those around here, seem like a bleep. There is a real sense of community around Cornwall. You will always find a connection to someone here.

Our dream is to be able to be part of a network of local businesses and artists so ideas can be exchanged, collaborations can be created, and a community can grow.
